The Bank Theatre Proudly Presents The Big Reveal Featuring Special Guest Tina Morgan: Older & Bolder - A Broadway Review
The Bank Theatre Proudly Presents The Big Reveal featuring special guest
Tina Morgan - Older & Bolder - A Broadway Review on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

The Bank Theatre is proud to present THE BIG REVEAL - featuring special guest Tina Morgan - Older & Bolder - A Broadway Review on Saturday, October 14 at The Bank Theatre. Doors will open at 6pm, the show will begin at 7pm and appetizers, tastings and music from Tina Morgan will fill the room. This is a very special evening for The Bank Theatre, as renderings by the architect Joe Pasa will be on display and revealed for the next renovation phase of the theatre to bring The Bank Theatre to a state of the art venue.

Tina Morgan will provide the evening's entertainment beginning at 7:30pm with 3 sets of Broadway hits sure to stir memories, have you dancing and enjoying the old days and new days to come.

Born Christina Marie Morgan in 1968, Tina Morgan grew up the youngest of seven children (harkening, perhaps to the Von Trapp family?). Tina found a love for music at a young age and took opportunities to join the church folk choir after starting to learn guitar at age 10 and becoming the church cantor at age 16.  But even though she continued with instrumental music, picking up the French horn in high school, vocals were always her passion.
Her parents being much older, Tina grew up in a house filled with the music of the big band era and Broadway, and she always knew her voice was much better suited to these songs of old than anything contemporary.
Attending Walkerville Collegiate from 1982 to 1987, Tina arrived the year after its famed music and theatre director, Bruce Curry had retired and graduated 2 years before it was converted into a school for the arts - Karma just wasn't smiling down at that time.
Neither did 4 years of university for a bachelor of education pay off with a career, so work was mostly evenings and weekends in retail of one kind or another, not leaving many opportunities to join local theatre projects.  This was not the only reason, however, Tina didn't pursue her love for music - something she only began to realize as of late.  Confidence comes with age, and Tina's new mantra is older and bolder.  Never shy, she only now makes her own opportunities; producing a private ensemble show for a very select group of people each year and more recently singing twice a year at KOMA restaurant in Windsor, she has decided that later is better than never.  This opportunity to sing at The Bank Theatre in Leamington is one that came out of incredible ties with a customer turned friend (by way of the LCBO where she works as the Events Coordinator) and one that she wasn't about to turn down.

Tickets $60 per person and available at Counter Effects, 2 Iroquois Rd in Leamington or online at http://thebanktheatrebigreveal.bpt.me
